Removed My Silencer Cone today!
I removed my silencer cone today, Boy I tell ya what, it now sounds more throaty, More tourque, More Horsepower, maybe 3 extra Horsies!, ANd it now reves higher!! It used to rev to 4,800 RPM, And it red lines at 5,500 RPM... But now it will rev to 5,000 RPM so thats great .. and plus! The engine stays cooler!!! imagine that!... When I get on it, and it reaches 3,000 RPM'* It sounds like a Bad *** Mo Fo!

Follow your air Intake, Its the piece that goes from the Filter Box to the front of the car, If you take that off, you will get what i just did. I dont know what its called in a Bonneville, but in my buddys SHO its called the Silencer Cone... In the Bonny its the piece that sucks up the air, If you take that off then u got a bigger intake hole, but u still got the Filter in there and everything, It increases the Air flow basically which Increases HP,. Torque and better sound
