remote key fobs
I have a '92 ssei and I just purchased new remote entry fobs for it. The last owner lost them and didn't replace them. My question is, how can I reprogram these units on my own
because the dealer wants two sell me new ones. My units came from gmparts direct but
no one seems to have info on programming before 1995. :?

I tried the reprogram in that order but no luck. I know this car has keyless entry because
when I unlock the drivers door the other doors unlock as well. Oh well thanks anyway.

You dipshit, BREATHE! Ok, the answer is out there somewhere. There IS a way to do this without going to the dealer, so just keep plugging away at it. You'll find it....or somebdoy else will.

As told by the 1993 Pontiac Bonneville factory service manual:
Remote Accessory Control Module reprogramming (for new transmitter)
1) Turn ignition off
2) Jumper DLC terminal G to terminal A. Door locks should lock and unlock within 2 seconds
3) Press any button on one transmitter. Door locks will lock and unlock within 2 seconds, indicating that the first transmitter is now programmed.
4) Repeat step 3 for the other transmitter
5) Disconnect jumper from the DLC
There you go!
