Red hot manifolds..
I noticed that after a spirited drive in the bonnie, when I pop the hood, the front manifold is glowing red, not super bright, but definitely noticeable. I think it might be because of it running lean? I'm not positive though. My IAT sensor was unplugged because of my custom CAI, but I plugged it back in and it still does it, but just idles higher. I have brand new plugs and wires gapped to the right spec., new fuel filter, new air filter... Any ideas how to correct this? I'd rather be running rich

I don't have a cat, so I doubt theres a restriction there and it'* too old to pull codes with a scantool from, i just have to jump the 2 terminals to pull codes. Could be timing, but thats computer controlled...

Well... using the classic GM trick to pull codes, I got this:
code 31: Park/Neutral switch
code 36: Transaxle shift problem
code 43: Electronic spark control circiut or Knock sensor problem
And also Codes 57 and 58.. I don't know what those are. The Park/Neutral switch I kind of know since my reverse lights come on in Neutral and do nothing in reverse. The Transaxle shift problem I also know about, it'* a rebuilt trans and something is messed up with the Overdrive that it has to go back for. Code 43, however, seems to be a likely culprit.. I might do the knock sensor just because. and I have to do the oil pressure switch too. I'm running colder plugs and I did the boost-bypass mod, would that affect anything negatively?
