Geez, you have an SSEi. You don't have a plastic upper intake. You have a Supercharger

You won't ever have this problem.

Sorry willwren, mild confusion here, vicoden inside. Thought the n/a manifold was just a weak point. Another local SSEi owner just replaced his sc and manifold becase of a split between the bolts.

I can safely say that you won't ever have that problem. Your car will never suffer from the eroding intake problem, nor the leaky FPR BOOM problem. That plastic is a weak spot.

But could the SSEi FPR leak on the hot */C or some exhaust manifold?

That picture in the thread is the regal engine, he used it as an example. I stll can't believe the dealer started it like that.
