I was noticing a notice coming from the back when braking, pulled the drums last night, was leaky brake cylinders. No a big concern, replaced with new ones, cleaned and adjusted the rear shoes, turned the drums. But I was wondering and have checked on search with no good result, Anyone done a rear disc conversion..? I am wanting to research some and you never know....? ![Very Happy](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I've read some threads about it and the general consensus is that it would be very difficult to do and not worth the cost/effort. I have not read that anyone on this forum had done it. It was a disappointment to me that Bonnevilles did not have discs on the back even as an option. I know someone is going to chime in and say they are not needed, the front does most of the braking...yada, yada, yada. Fact remains, discs are a far better set up, and I can't believe they would have cost that much more to put on the car.
