Q's on OBDII conversions

It is an idea for my car. Me and Brian had been talking about it and we were wondering what would be involved in doing it. I was thinking about eventionally doing a turbo or top end swap and we thought that it would be easier to do an obd2 swap then going through gmtuners at that point.

Brians car is a '93 Lumina with an L67 swap. His mods IIRC are: K&N filter, 180 tstat, powerlog, ported rear manifold, 3" downpipe, vs cam, 105lb. springs, al 104 plugs, HumPerformance trans w/3.29 gears, custom PCM. I can't remember what else, but thats most of it....
so what you guys are saying, is that a 95 and a 96 are identical except for the 95 being OBD1.5? they both have the same connector at the firewall? having the same trans is a big plus too.
now what about the fuse panel/block? isnt the fuse panel right in the cowl on the bonne? would it need to be changed with the OBDII wiring harness?
another biggie would to know if the cruise, abs and whatever is built into the engine harness needs to be changed/modified in any way as well.
Any detailed pics would help me out too.

LuminaL67, I cannot find circuit descriptions by number or alphabetical listing anywhere in my '95 FSM. You would think someone would have this information. There are 66 pins on that C260 connector and hundreds of circuits to search in the FSM. Without the key or a circuit index, the schematics in the FSM must be studied page by page searching for circuit, cavity, and connector number to identify them. And, it is not safe to assume that '96 is the same as '95. No sure way to tell without identifying each wire. Probably most are the same but it is the few that might differ that will bite you. And that is not to mention the other wiring. I would suggest that you get hold of the FSMs for both donor and recipient and take the time to identify each pin. It is the only sure way not to let out the magic smoke that makes the electrical system work. I do not have a '96 FSM.

now, i said i shouldn't assume, but lets assume for a second, that the fuse panel, cruise, abs and all is the same between the two years. if this is the case, it would just be a matter of comparing the schematics from the 95 and 96, and moving pins in the C260 from the donor to mate with the 95. and then basically taking the old harness out and putting the new one in with the new pcm and wire up the ALDL inside the car.

the 95 PCM is UNDER the dash, and the 96 PCM is under the Hood.....the connector at the firewall is bound to be different because of the lack of wires that are running to the PCM
and your better off going 97+ PCM because if the aftermarket, although you can still get a DHP for the 96 PCM
