Power Seats/Rear Window Defroster Relationship?
Recently I've had to keep my '92 SSE outside because my 2001 SSEi stays in the garage. On very cold days I've noticed that the rear window defrosters fails to come on. At the same time I've noticed that the power seats do not work either.
Once she warms up, or sits for a while after warmup and engine shutdown, the rear defrosters and power seats work just fine. On warmer days everything works too.
Can someone give me some hints as to troubleshooting this. I have never experienced this problem before all the time she sat in the garage all night.
Thanks in advance,

fuddyduddy,
How can it be a circuit breaker if it corrects itself when it warms up a bit. Does the circuit breaker reset?

I'm not sure, I could only guess. However the circuit breaker is the only thing those two share in common. Do you have problems with the power door locks at the same time?

Right. I do not necessarily move my seat when the rear defogger is on. The book says that what could cause this is one of the seat positions being at its limit. It is not. None are.
I think I may have a weak relay #4. I think the rear defogger is tripping the relay and then both rear and seats don't work as a result. When its warmer there is less voltage load to trip out the breaker so everything works fine.
Does anyone know if there is a duplicate #4 breaker in there somewhere so I could trade one out to see what affect that has?
