P0104B Fault Code
I am having issues with this code. I have gone through everything I can think of. I have changed the EGR, cleaned all the passages with the intake off, changed the PCV, the MAP , both o2'*, and double and triple checked tall the wiring and vacuums. Does anyone have any ideas on what the cause could be. I run the code, clear it then test drive the car and it comes back again. The last time it came back with a fuel trim lean code also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a '97 FSM, but my '95 has no such code. If you mean code P0401, (EGR flow test failure) which it sounds like from your description, let me know and I will scan and post the diagnostic procedure for you.
If this is the problem, the only fixes seem to be:
clean the EGR and passages or change it out,
fix short in ckt 435
change out PCM,
There is also a note that says: if dtcs p0101 or p1406 are set with dtc p0401, diagnose and repair in the following order: 101, 1406, 401
If you already have an FSM, I have no other ideas.

yeah it is code P0401 and our scanner says it is for insuffecient EGR flow. I have cleaned, tested and or replaced everything i can really think of to this point so a flow chart would be awsome. Thanx

Remember, this is from a '95 FSM. May be different for a '97. Everything is not the same. You may have to figure out a way to cheat on some of the tests assuming you don't have a Tech I tool.
