No problem - we'll get this solved. The ICM is what the coils are mounted to.

Remove the coils & ICM. Bring them inside & check for any signs of moisture & or corrosion. Check carefully where all the electrical connections are. I think there is a wire that grounds the plate the ICM is bolted to. Make sure that wire & the plate are clean so we know the ICM is properly grounded. If there'* any sign of moisture on the ICM you can try the oven trick. Make sure the oven doesn't get too hot!

While everything is apart check the resistance of the coils. You need to check both the primary & secondary side of each coil. Secondaries are the posts the plug wires connect to. Primaries are where the coils connect electrically to the ICM. Let us know what the readings are.

After checking everything reassembly & give it a try. If it still doesn't start take the ICM to your local auto parts store & have it checked.

I believe you said your meter had a 1k ohm reading so the secondaries were 5,000 ohms which is in the normal range. The primaries wil be less than 1 ohm so you can't check those unless the meter has another range around 10 ohms or less.

Next step will be to get the ICM to an auto parts store that can check it out.
