Is it blue oil smoke for sure? White smoke? Black smoke?
Since it does it at idle when it'* warm, have you ever tried to smell it for an extra identifyer?

My 95 does this too and it is oil for sure. My intake gaskets were done last summer and it was not doing it then. I did notice that after switching the cat two weeks ago it is not as bad though. :? It dosent use that much maybe a quart a month or less. I will follow this thread closely.

Some of these guys are better at diag. your problem than me, but since I'm here... have you tried replacing the PCV valve? Running a compression check might tell you something. (Piston rings?) Valve guides/seals usually smoke after sitting shortly after a run and then starting up.
Then, you get the big old puff of smoke >

For some reason I'm finding this thread confusing. :?
Is this issue on your supercharged Bonnie? The 96?
Where is this oil coming from? Can you actually see the smoke cloud under the hood?
You could be suffering from worn out valve cover gaskets. It'* common for them to leak on the L67 (Series II Supercharged) engine.
