It'* strange that the battery is showing less than 10 volts at times. Usually a dead battery will still show 12 volts, it just won't have enough amps for the starter to turn over the engine. Somewhere I read that the PCM can shut itself off if voltage is too high or low. Let'* see what happens when you put a different battery in. Don't put your battery in the other car, it could damage the alternator.

OK, lets check some outputs. What do you show at C, D, and F with ignition on, and then with cranking. Also, pull one of the coils, and see if you have voltage at one of the two terminals that stick up off from the ICM.

H...H...Honda !!! I'm afraid we can't try to help you any more.

Can you try the Honda battery in the Bonneville? Archon & I exchanged a few PM'* about your problems & we're still here if you want help. I keeping thinking that we are missing something simple. Did you still have the new ICM on when you installed the new crank sensor?

TT'* right, though. Even with the "H" word....we haven't given up yet. We feel that we'll hit the right combo here before long.

If the battery is under charged.. that could be a big issue right there. Our cars are power hungry and cranky when they don't have their fill.

Don't try jumping...

Try charging it overnight. Let'* go at this the right way so we can rely on the results.
