If you have some time and have nothing to do, pull out your glove box and watch the action of your air mix door. Start the car and hit the "auto" button on your ECC. Your air mix door will probably try to determine it'* position by going full cold (to the left), then go full hot (all the way right), then attempt to set the proper heat mix based on the temperature setting. Set the temperature to the max setting and watch what happens. Set it to min and watch. Repeat this a couple times. If the door doesn't go to the same max/min positions each time, or it doesn't move smoothly, your actuator is hosed. I think it'* hosed anyway, but this will verify it.

trunk switch on door stopped? working, when I programmed the fob he got off of ebay, the trunk works. I said he should replace the door switch, then thought about the lockout switch
I forgot all about it as I had to run and give a buddy a ride home when he got into a accident today..

Not too concerned about the trunk switch as the fob is fine.

I will also pull the glove box tomorrow and check that arm deal is that what the 152 code was for ?

The arm will tell us firther if the 152 is caused by a broken gear in the actuator. There is no direct code for broken actuator gear.

my 94 dose this every time i have to disconect the batery luckly so far i only do that mutch in the summers and it is int that bad of a deal it always gos away on mine in a week or so of repeated drive cycles and it would give me spotty heat cold in that time but allwayse comes back the actuator on mine is alwayse smooth ann go'* to the same spots every time it just goofs off for a wile and blinks till it is happy with its self if it was kinda moving eratic or not going to the same spot i would have changed it but none of the bad things where hapining with mine so i just stuck it out the first couple times and now it is just one of the quirks with my car and i know it now this is not to say that yours is the same but just to let you know that some take longer to relearn them selfs than others mine might just have dementia or car patr alshimers lol but hope it works out soon it sux with no heat this time of year

I got out my Barney Gumbal decoder ring and ciphered Duffer'* post and concluded that...

1. Duffman,youhadonetoomanyDuffspriortoposting.

2. My 93 acted similar to Duffer'* for a couple years before the previously mentioned gear checked out like Michael Jackson at a Boy'* Club. I have the utmost confidence that failure for yours is imminent, Duff. It'* just a matter of time. How much time is unknown, but disconnecting the battery will probably speed things up. Anyway, you shouldn't be surprised when it finally cashes in its chips, and you know what to do about it. You might ponder this during the cold winter months: Consider replacing the air mix actuator when the weather is nice and comfortable - Murhy'* Law states that when this thing finally meets with catastrophic failure it will be during the longest hot or cold spell on record.

Wise choice. Mine finally went kaput in mid winter. I made my wife drive the car for a good month with erratic heat, hoping it would correct itself, before she finally took a rolling pin to my head then locked me in the garage until her car had heat.
