Hey, quick question while I'm gone... what do you guys rate the tank drop difficulty at and is there anything in the way of the tank or is it your average fuel pump swap?

Not too sure on availability of tank straps on the weekend here, so if need be I'll have to wrestle with the stockers.

I just did another test on the fuel pressure before digging into the car... 10 seconds without gloves on, and it feels like my fingers are on fire from the wind chill, so I'm making sure before taking on a big project....
Anyhow, are you guys testing the fuel pressure with the FPR vacuum line on or off?
My readings either way are:
42psi with the vacuum line off, doesn't change with RPM
37psi @ idle with the vacuum line on, 42psi when revved.
Does this still sound like a lack of pressure?

My attempt at braving the weather was short lived... no matter how many layers, it'* just impossible.
Guess I've got to get the car into a garage.

So last night I replaced the fuel filter. Even though it was full of crap, no change in the car'* performance. I pulled the vacuum line off the FPR, plugged the line and was seeing 43-44psi at idle... car still runs like crap. Pulled the ignition off, took it to autozone, they tested it as good. Coils test fine, the number 1 spark plug looks to be running leaner than the others... Will be replacing wires and plugs today. Any other ideas?
