New noises!!!! =(
1.) When I'm letting my car sit and it'* idling it idles rough and my headlights flicker. I am pretty sure this is the alternator.
2.) When I accelerate from being stopped and I don't pay attention at what speed this happens but when the car goes to shift to the next gear and the RPMS are up I hear a rattling noise and then it I feel it shift (normally) and it goes away. Only happens when I am accelerating from 0mph, and I have to kinda step on it to hear it. If I accelerate slow I still hear it but I've stepped on it lately to listen to it to see where it'* coming from and it sounds like it right under the engine. Comes from below the car. I don't know if this is caused by a bad alternator or what but it pisses me off to have crap wrong with my car. The alternator has to wait bc I'm unemployed right now since I was discharged, and money just doesn't grow on trees.
3.) When I'm driving pretty fast, like on the highway my steering wheel shakes. My guess is an alignment possibly.

1. Free possiblilies..check your connections, grounds and positives..May just be a loose or corroded connection.
2. Have someone listen to it with you..like Chad ..don't drive much w/o knowing what it is. I'm thinking either pinging (predetonation from bad knock sensor) or something you don't want to hear. Check your oil and coolant levels right away also.
3. If you recently purchased the tires or have free road hazard..have the balance checked. Usually alignment doesn't go out of whack without being whacked very hard.
