Check the brake light switch. If it'* off now the brake lights could be on all the time.

The original owner told me it is a brand new door, it does not even have holes for the clips. He said it was side-swiped and he purchased the new door without the plastic. I have a brand new plastic molding in the trunk, but no way to get it on. I hope this even makes some sense! I will post pictures tomorrow, maybe I will just have to bring it to a body shop.

Are you talking about the sill plates? Flat plastic pieces that cover the area you step over to get in the car, and are colored the same as the interior of your car? Post pics.

Here it the panel that is missing. I don't know the correct word I guess. Maybe I would have to pry off the clips from a car at the junkyard and screw them in the door. I couldn't find anyone else on the forum that needs this. The owner gave me a brand new panel that is missing the white clips

heres the driver'* side, if you can see it well, I have them on both doors

Oh, now I got it. That'* the rear door body side molding. Most auto body repair stores should carry those clips. You might even check on line at rockauto.com, and at Morad Auto parts. Let us know how you make out.

What'* next on the list?

I think my list never ends! I have a few questions, one is my front right window motor is shot. Can the regulator and motor be removed without drilling out rivets? or are they held in with nuts? I read on the forum about the rear doors being held with nuts. My girlfriend'* 97 grand am had rivets. Just wondering.. But one thing that has been bothering me, the UIM. I am starting to get very paranoid that the one on this car is the original and I am wondering if anything can prevent this from being a problem in the future. My car has a 180 degree thermostat installed, but this is probably not going to prevent anything. Is there a way to check to see if the UIM was replaced before? Might be a stupid question but there is a lot I would like to know about these cars.
