We don't have distributor caps.... check the spark at the plugs, it may be a coil pack or ignition module.

Where are they located? (coil pack and ignition module)

Follow the spark plug wires to them.

I had someone look at it and he said that it'* either the coil packs or the fuel compression unit. He said it'* more than likely coil packs. I hope so because that'* a cheap quick fix.

That'* like saying the car won't start either because you have the wrong key, or there'* no battery.

Obviously very little troubleshooting involved in that advice. Both items are totally independent of each other.

Please check for spark at all 6 cylinders, and pull your PCM codes. Don't throw money at this thing until we know what it is. Coil packs are NOT cheap. They're $40 each.

I found some for $20 a piece at Auto Zone. The guy who looked at it its pretty much a mechanic.
