My ar is at the shop
The only thing is that i have to go blind. The oil pressue is so low at idle i just took it to the place i go to when i need some major work done and they dont have a machine to check the pressure for the oil. They said it might be the oil pump switch and i am crossing my fingers that this is the problem. IF not, then i have to crack the bank open and get an oil pump

its fixed now. the oil pump switch was cracked. Second bonneville i had that did that. This time i was fortunate to save it. The black car needed a heart transplant and it took 2 months to find a donor afterwards, lol!

yeah, the sensor. the sensor had a crack in it. the oil gage read at 36-40 psi at idle no with the gear in drive and 43psi during normal driving. Before it was at 12-19 psi and 35 psi during driving. If i sat at a light, i would have to put it in nuetral so it would go below 12psi. All whiel the engine was warmed up. The temp is at 205*. I was so happy that it wasnt the oil pump itself :P .
