I have a 94 Bonn.
I believe I read somewhere that it is bad to use Mobil 1 ATF in my transmission.
I was wondering why not. I have used both Mobil 1 oil and ATF in my 1988 Riviera and it has 270,000+ miles and it’* still going. In my other post I’m having trouble with my 94 Bonn. and I was curious if my problem could be caused by the Mobil 1 ATF?
What are some of the symptoms to look for?
Thanks

I thought I read somewhere that synthetic ATF was bad because an auto-tranny needed friction for the clutch to engage. Maybe I am wrong or thinking of something else.
