Sorry for such a dumb question that I should probably know the answer too but whats a PCV valve? People talk about changing it so I want to also. Im on a roll man.

Pressure control valve or Positive crankcase ventilation valve.
It allows whatever gases that may blow by the piston into the oil pan back into the intake tract to be reburnt. A sticky one can reduce MPG.
