A Low Range Power Question
I took the bonne out last night. And i went WOT a few times and just messed around. I noticed the car seems to have no balls from a stop for some reason. It wouldnt even chirp the tires. I have never noticed anything like this. I notcied my 60'* at the track went from a 2.3 to a 2.4 over the summer but i kinda figured it was heat. Does anyone have any idea what would cause a loss of power off the line like this.
On a side note from 60mph on the car felt beautiful. It pulled the best it has ever pulled up top all the way to shut off. Thank you Willren for the idea of removing the home depot insulation on the intake i think that might have helped out a little on top end but am not sure.

As for tranny slip....... Would i feel that? I know that my tranny is not too healthy. The fluid isnt starting too draken but i am afraid to change it because of all the horror stories i have heard. My car never had trouble in the low range and now it has stumbles.

Have you changed anything else on the car since just before the stumble had started?

No i haven't done anything else. I noticed if i listen my tranny is whining. Almost sounds like a charger but not as loud. As i increase load the noise gets louder. And when it shifts to the next gear it goes away and then starts in the next gear. I am thinking either the filter is dirty and it will not let enough fluid in and that is making the noise or..... it may be the torque convertor.
