A Lot of Coolant in my oil, Now car wont start
I just bought my first car, a 97 Bonneville a few days ago. When i bought it all of the fluids looked good and everything ran fine, later that night looked at it again and everything was in god shape, even later that night my check engine light came on. It was on for a couple of days and i was on my way to auto zone to get the code red to see what was wrong i noticed it was idling rough. At auto zone i was told there was a misfire in cylinders 4 and 6. I drove it home and it started to get rougher. Parked it in my driveway, went to start it 20 minuets later and it wouldn't turn over. All of my coolant is gone and you can see that it it is the oil. Is it an intake gasket? I need help.

Is this the non supercharged engine? If so, the UIM is leaking coolant in to your engine. You will need to remove the UIM and replace the gasket and likely the UIM as well. They crack between the EGR tube and the coolant passages.

Josh: since you'll be halfway there, don't forget to replace your LIM gaskets with the updated metal-framed ones. Don't cheap out: if the UIM is old enough to start cracking, the LIM gaskets can't be in great shape, either.
That link up there (thanks, Firebird) will show you how to replace everything.

More than halfway. There'* really not much of a reason not to take the time to do the LIM if you're doing the UIM. It'* a few extra bolts and another few small steps, but if you have to do it later then you have to redo the UIM anyway.
