A little advice before the weekend?
Ok, I'm changing my PMV assembly because of my ABS/Traction woes. The service manual sez to raise the vehicle before removing the lower PMV retaining bolt. What gives? Is this just for access, or are there some stresses invloved here and it needs to be wow? (weight off wheels for you non-aircraft types).
It also sez to raise the vehicle for bleeding, but that'* a no-brainer. Even my skinny-*** self doesn't fit too well under a Bonneville. One more thing while I'm being so demanding, about how many bleed cycles will it take to completely purge the system?
I need some help this weekend. Too many things on my list. Who lives closest?

I understand you want to know how many times but its not that important go through a big bottle like a (liter) LOL I know metric is fun.
As for more help you are probably like me and just need people to stand around and eat your food while you ask for help and solve the problems simultaneously. You know kind of like…well …other self-indulgent acts. LOL

Ok, how many of you smartasses know what the total brake fluid capacity of the sytem is? Maybe we need an Engineer to calculate it. Total volume needs to include the master cylinder, brake cylinders, calipers, proportioning valves, PMV, traction reservior, and all tubing.
I bought 2 of the big bottles, quarts, or close to it, I think, and I have another 1/2 from the last time I bled.
Will I run out of fluid before I run out of air :?: Who besides Ty has done a complete purge :?:
