Keeping Overhead Console Shut (92-99)
I ordered a new overhead console and got it today, But the sunglass holder wont stay shut. Whats the secret to getting it to stay shut?

Little wire thing???
probably a spring coil that is broken.
1. is the little hook attatched the the door. if not, it broke off and you will need a new door.
2. can you see the tiny square part that the door hook goes in to.
if so. does it move. if not there has to be a spring broken inside.
3. if it is # 2 try to move it with a pen or something to close it and not use it.

While were on the topic, why doesnt my car have a sunglasses holder. It has the part thats just naturally open? My friends 99 SE has it, could it have to do with the middle front being a seat instead of the floor shift?
