Default I think I found out why my ABS lights been on for 2 months

Today I removed both tires and I noticed the left side had a dangling close to the rotor.

The right side was plugged in near the rotor. The left side looks like the little part where you have to plug the plug is completly gone.

Is this why I have no anti lock brakes. I read that you can have the dealer turn off that ABS light? I hate that thing. Can I get it turned off or do you think that part that broke off is an easy fix?

Use the instructions in Techinfo to remove the cluster, and take that bulb out.

I can't remember or confirm for sure right now

But there should be at least wires coming out from the hub bearings ( is it still there? ) that the connector that you're missing is attatched to.. if you have that... go to a wrecker and go swipe a new plug.. solder and make sure you heat shrink tube and tape the snot out of the soldered area..

That or buy a new hub bearing...

I dont' know if the dealer could do that or not.. unless they reflash the PCM or kill the power to the actual light on the dash?

EDIT: Or do wat Bill says.. lmao he posts as fast as he drives and drinks beer

I would get a junkyard plug, and fix it. That way, you have abs and traction on a 4 door boat

The way I'm reading it, it sounds like the plug that is part of the hub/bearing assy. is gone and the vehicle harness is still there. If so, then you need a new hub assy. They are pretty easy to put in, but can be a bit spendy. You may have damage to the vehicle harness as it was not weather tight when it was unplugged, may be corroded too badly to use.
