The E-stat module allows use of lower temp thermostats in newer GM vehicles. Some PCMs will throw a code when running a colder or drilled thermostat. This is due to the computer thinking that the car is not warming up fast enough. The E-stat increases the speed at which your PCM sees the vehicle warming up to eliminate this problem. *The temperature gauge in your car will still read the same, so there should be no worries about not knowing the correct temperature of your car. Installs in minutes with no wires to cut.

*On vehicles with a single element ECT sensor, the gauge in the vehicle will read slightly higher than actual temp.



No need to do a write up. Simply buy the part from our recognised vendor ZZP. It'* relatively inexpensive.

Scan or estat would be the wise choices. Since I have scanner available to me...I usually scan.
