How Hard is it to Replace Gas Tank?
Well, the old '93 has a gas leak [right at the seam], so I can't put more than 1/2 a tank in her: since I'm going to replace the tank, I'm wondering if I should replace the fuel pump & pick-up at the same time...
Having searched, it would seem to me that if I'm replacing the tank, I might as well replace the other two while I'm at it...
How hard a job would this be?..& are there any special tools/tips I should be aware of to make it easier to replace all three at once?

Its not too hard for a shadetree. I've had mine off twice, and the tank was mostly full both times. Worst part of the job for me was getting the rubber hoses disconnected from the fuel pump. Just jack the car up or put it on ramps, loosen the exhaust pipe in a few places so it can move a little for clearance, remove the tank straps, lower the tank, and disconnect the hoses. Its better to have two people.
Oh, and the second time i had to drop the tank, it was because i didn't have the strainer fully secured on the pump and it fell off the pump some months later. Be sure it'* tightly secured!
