Hot/cold air distribution box
I just became a member and need some help please. My ‘97 SSE air distribution box control door will not switch from hot air mode to cold air mode. I think it may be the motor that moves the door inside the box but may be switches.
I need some suggestions on how to narrow it down.
If it is the motor how do I get to it? I took the glove box out but still couldn’t see anything.
All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Russell

Sounds like it'* having a problem with the air mix valve in the programmer.
Here'* the diagrams for vacuum, electrical and the programmer.

BTE You get to it by taking the PCM loose from it'* bracket. Don't disconnect it. Go up behind the bracket.

Do you have a scan tool? I'll look and see if that module can be scanned? Being that new of an OBDII vehicle I think not but I'll check.
