HIGH shift points with stock ECM/E-prom
I've checked the tranny fluid and it'* nice and red, right up to the full mark.
In Normal shift mode it'* shifting from 1st to 2nd at around 55-5600 rpm (38-39 mph), and from 2-3 at the same rpm (80-81 mph).
In Performance shift mode (shifter in OD) I'm literally hitting the rev limiter in first gear (didn't know that was possible) with the RPM needle pointing damn near 6K (45-47 MPH).
2-3 shift is again close to 6K at 84-86 mph.
I do have to say, the shifts are FIRM!!! No blown lines now, but they have to be feeling the pressure.
Any idea why it'* shifting so late?

I think your tach is off? Have you checked that with the scantool?
At the top of my shift with the 3.06 gears I shift at 87 at right about 6k ...
At 5600 you should hit fuel cutoff... According to the servive manual the L67 for 95 is set at a 5600 fuel cut off, and the L36 is set at 6200 for fuel cut off...
I know I have an L36 But I too have wondered for the longest what the heck is up with the 95 EPROM'*

Definitely shifting beyond 5600 RPM Don. I am really stumped, especially after having seen vids of Greenzilla'* shift points with the Stage 2 Jet.
Full rebuild with shift kit 8k back.

Reason I brought this up is because up until 3-4 weeks ago it shifted where it should... 1-2 in Perf shift @ 37-39 mph around 52-5300 rpm and 2-3 at 52-5300 (77-78 mph).
Now it'* shifting alot later. Today I know I saw damn close to 6k as I was trying out the freshly installed PEM'* (VERY smooth up there surprisingly). I know I've seen 46 mph in 1st with the shifter in OD. Haven't done a 2-3 shift at full throttle in a over a week, but last weekend on the freeway when I met up with Seth and Nate for core exhaust Manifolds I ran against a GTP Comp G a couple times and noticed 2-3 shifts close to 87-88 mph -almost 10 mph over before.
On my 1-2 shifts now the car does feel like it has hit fuel cut-off though. :?

Nope -no boost bypass trick -just loosened the 3 10mm bolts, pushed the valve down and retightened -no rerouting of the vacuum lines.

You know as well as I do that the 94-95 PCM was a freak of nature... made for only 2 years, and full of issues... I think the 88-91 and 92-93 PCM was better and had fewer issues.. My 95 has always been funky and still is.. Now days it doesn't let me reach fuel cutoff
Also I agree on a series I 6k is supprisingly smooth( don't ask )

Every trans has slip when the TCC isn't locked up. We're not talking about overdrive here.
You are over-revving. Shifts are determined by many factors, including the VSS. The fact that your RPM'* are too high when the shift occurs tells me the trans is slipping, and the VSS is seeing the proper input.
This is the most logical answer at this point. If someone told you you didn't have any slip at WOT, they don't know how these things work. Your slip RPM count should be maxed at 255 (the digital age is upon us). How many rpm'* beyond that is impossible to read with a scantool.
Regardless, my money and odds are on you slipping at WOT.
