HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I posted awhile back about water inside my passenger sided front seat area. It was recommended that I do the EVAP core cleaning in the techinfo. I Did the EVAP core cleaning and the drain was totally plugged with pine needles that I got out with grabber 4 pine needles at a time. Well I thought the problem was fixed until it rained today and the inside got wet in the same place. So I took the right front wheel well apart to get to the fender drain. It was partially plugged but was fixed easily. So I again put the hose in the passenger side Intake at the base of the windshield. Even thought the car was tilted down on the passenger side all the water still flowed out of the drivers side drain at the wheel well/door drain. With the hose going full blast there is not 1 drop of water coming out of the EVAP core drain. But I
finally found the leak. In order to see the leak I have to get a very small mirror up beside the SIR computer which is located under the dash on the passenger side. All I can see is what looks like a normal vent seal (foam to plastic) that is dripping. At this point I am at a loss as what to do. There is no way to get to the leak without taking out the ECM, SIR computer and passenger side fuse box. All of which I really do not want to do. I have no idea how the water is supposed to flow and what part the EVAP core area plays but if someone know and could explain it to me it would be wonderful. If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated.
