well.. I thought it was just dirt in the front headlights.. but after a closer inspection.. it wasn't.. the chrome has peeled off
. short of replaceing it.. I"m thinkin either chrome spray paint ( which isn't very reflective ) 2. Exhaust reflective head tape.. ( how reflective are they? ) 3. carpet glue spray and aluminum foil
.. any ideas which would work better or any of your own?

Silver leafing maybe?? I been thinking about using this on my corner lights to get them to look "chromer" (I invented a word!!) It'* thinner and intended to stick to odd shapes better than your other options....

For headlights, I would recommend new, too. But if you are really broke enough to have to rty something else first, I would recommend trying the silver leaf stuff from a craft store. it'* very silvery, and you could try using it to just fill in the black/loose spots.
I have taken the headlight elements apart on mine, and I should warn you, it ain't easy. Not impossible, but you gott be very, very careful. They are all glass....

I know nothing beats new at the moment.. but I have dumped $3160 on it so far and it still has a long way to go.. Haven't even got to the hub bearings yet. so I guess I have to make shift for now.. will the silver leaf stuff hold up against the heat of the bulbs??
Will check the link .. thanx![Wink](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
EDIT: Link doesn't work for my year.. but will look into Ebay later on..
