16 X 6.5" is the correct size for 3rd Generation W-Body Grand Prixs from 1997 to 2003.

BTW: I weighed my 97 SSEi immediately after a buddy with his 98 GTP 4 door...the cars were within 20lbs of each other.

Foghorn -what did your car weigh? I wieghed my 1998 SSE and the scale showed 3450. I was rather impressed considering it had just over 1/4 tank of gas, but there was noone in the car nor was the lower cushion of the back seat in.

according to msn autos (which has been wrong from time to time) the 92 bonneville SSEi is 3691 lbs.

and here are gp weights ill give the heaviest weight car for that yr.
92-3448
93-3470
94-3318
95-3318
96-3367
97-3414
98-3428
99-3463
00-3523
01-3494
02-3494
03-3559
04-3583

ur car only weighs 100 pounds more than the heaviest GPs, and the heaviest GPs are what those wheals were used on... u should encounter no problem using the gp wheels on ur bonneville

I dont think the weight of the car is the issue.....

FYI the GP wheels dont look good on a bonne, they are too narrow i have pictures to back this up
