GM_Parts Specifications
Dear forum readers, I have a specific project I want to do, but in order to do it I need the exact specifications of the ashtray and the surrounding housing in the center of the 1994 Bonneville SSEi. I am having a lot of trouble finding any schematics for these parts, and any help as to where i can get them would be greatly appreciated, thanks

The only place to get them is the factory service manuals. Jeff has a set for 93, identical to yours in dimensions.
DeathRat is the parts guy for a pontiac dealer in canada.....he has access to the microfiche breakdown, and also has a cd set at home.

the project im workin on now isnt anything too exciting... i just bought and installed a new sony xplod reciever that has no buttons on the face... therefore the only controls for it are located on my steering wheel and on a remote control that comes with the system. i thought it'd be pretty stupid to have a remote control floating around the car, so I'm building a fiberglass piece to fit into the groove where the center ashtray is typically located... i've drawn out a schematic, but it would be very helpful to have the exact dimensions of the part that pontiac used so that it will fit in smoothly. all in all, its just going to be a fiberglass replacement with a cutout fit for the remote and two holes for red LEDs that are going to illuminate the remote when the ash tray cap is opened... i doubt this will be of any help, but i just thought i should let you know where i am going with this haha, thanx for the replys
