*UPDATE*
i was driving today and my check engine light came on. just before that, i noticed that i had no TC. 4th gear worked fine, but there was no TC lockup. so i get out my cheapo code reader and i get a P1870 code. Transmission Component Slipping. how shocking.
but the ironic thing was i got this code when i was driving back from nebf with brian, and pats gf. i cleared the code then and it never came back. i left the code for the tranny guy to see tomorrow.

ok, i just got a call from the tranny shop and he said he needs to replace the radiator because it isnt flowing good, and he needs to replace 1 or both o2 sensor because the car is running lean, making it run hot. they need to be fixed before the car can be fixed.WTF?

when the transmission is replaced the radiator should be flushed because there is a bunch of junk left over from the last transmission failing. This is the shops job to do it and an O2 sensor has nothing to do with how hot your transmission is running. This guy is bullsh^ting trying to cover up his mistakes.

Look at the passenger side of the radiator. Just below the radiator cap. You'll see to steel tubes threaded into the radiator. Those are your transmission lines.

In that plastic end cap of the radiator, there is a little radiator inside that have threaded inserts. The metal lines are threaded into them. So the coolant passing over that radiator inside the endcap cools the trans fluid.
