Which gas is better?
I don't know how many of you live around the Midwest (not many, I'm guessing), but in Iowa ethanol blends are common at gas stations. I bougth my 97 SE with 80k miles on it, and I've always put ethanol blends in it (higher octane and cheaper than regular). Now, I've just lost he O2 sensor (a new one is being shipped right now), and am wondering if the gas has anything to do with it. Is the ethanol hurting my engine or should it be ok regardless. I have no mods yet, but by the end of spring, it will be pretty modded and probably chugging premium, but until then should i switch to plain ol' regular?
Thanks

With an NA engine you can use regular, but the mid grades will be best. Ethenol should be ok for your engine. There was discussion on this in the past (long time ago) and there are alot of race cars running pure ethenol for power gains and what not. I doubt the gas did anything to the O2 sensor. Besides, if you have 80,000 miles on your car and haven't changed it yet, you were overdue. O2'* usually are acurate for around 50,000 miles, and that'* it.
