Wow, you guys are good, thanks for all the posts...doesn't look like I'm in for much fun.
I remember doing this on my Lesabre, I had to cut the straps :? It'* nice job to do in the driveway in the middle of winter :( . I know a couple of guys with shops but I don't really feel like asking to use them because of the leaking fuel etc.

The new bolts you'll want for your straps need to be 3-4 inches long.. tough to get the new straps stretched...

If I were in this predicament, I would change the pump too. Heck, you're already in that deep....might as well do the preventative maintanence since the pump won't last forever.
