Frustrated with Dual Fans Not Working
FIrst of all:
92 SSE, L27
Fans work at start-up, short cycle then stop
Fans work when A/C is turned on
Fans work when I jumper the CTS underneath the TB
Replaced the PCM but used my EPROM
Replaced the CTS with a Wells #SU109 (AutoZone)
Fans work when I jumper the A-B terminals on the ADL (could be a problem according to service manual?)
Fans DON'T work when the temp rises above a gage reading of 225+
Don't have low or high under "normal" operation.
I'm almost ready to take it to a stealership!
Any suggestions?

If the fans run when you installed a jumper for the CTS then I would change the CTS.
Edit - I see you already changed that. Do you have a multimeter?

Yup. Compare the resistance of each of the two CTS'*, and report the readings back here. Make sure we know which reading goes to which sensor.
Do your fans come on high when you put your climate control in AUTO? (assuming you have the ECC, and not the manual controls).

I don't know if this will help any but my fans don't come on until the gauge reads 239-240 I checked it with my scan tool and my gauge is way off. At 200 gauge (car) it reads 190 (scan tool), at 240 gauge (car) it reads 210 (scan tool).
Are you sure your gauge accurate?

92 SSE has the ECC
Fans do come on when switched to AUTO.
SSE has 206K mostly reliable miles
EPROM code "AZKN"
Ohm readings (with old needle VOM) with dash temp gage readings +/-?
220 - 175 ohms
200 - 200 ohms
180 - 250 ohms
Makes me want to install the EPROM from the other PCM I put in "BDNL" to see if the temps(ohms) are programmed into the EPROM. Maybe I had a shift inside the AZKN chip?

And compare them to each other.
Please tell us what the gauge reads, and the resistance of each temp sensor. Specifiy which is which. Below the TB and next to the #6 fuel injector.
