That'* about the same price I paid last week just to get a replacement turn-signal lever for the '96 Trans Sport. Yes, _just_ the turn-signal lever...

I suppose this is GM'* cosmic way of making it up to me for last week'* ripoff... Oh, well, better order that as soon as I clear the expense with the spouse. Like the console lid latch, what I may do is just store the new grille for now until I either sell the car or give it a complete going-over. I don't mind living with the flaws on the car as long as I know I've already got the solution taken care of.

(Having said that, I keep coming across the replacement console shifter dust slide for my '82 Cutlass _and_ a gorgeous NOS hood ornament for the same car, which I still have in my basement even though the car itself was sold in 1996...)
