Forward Air conditioner vents no longer work
93 SE:
For some reason when I turn the air or vent on and put the selector on the forward vents, the air continues to come out the foot and defrost vents. Any ideas?

Check for a disconnected vacuum line at the vacuum reservoir. It'* located betrwwn the master cylinder and the maxifuse center under the hood. If that seems fine, lower both of the front hush panels, start the car and listen for a hissing sound indicating a vacuum leak.
The climate control is designed so that if there is a loss of vacuum, the air will be directed to the defroster vents by default.

Found the vacuum line that was somehow disconnected. Doesn't strike me as being very secure though - just a rubber hose that fits over a plastic nozzle. Kinda boring really :P
Still though, what'* a hush panel?

(whisper) They're the panels underneath the dash. Ya know, the panels underneath the glove compartment and by the brake/acceelerator pedals.
