factory radio

Don't get all excited and pee on the furniture, Al. It'* not what you think. If you buy a deck/head unit that has an IR remote control, this unit can be taught to emulate your steering wheel controls by translating the switch inputs into IR signals. I was going to install the IR emitter diode in the leather boot around my shifter. Perfect proximity to the deck, and out of sight. This thing is still in the package, and I was going to offer it to JSeabert, but he'* staying stock on audio now. (mine impressed him....right JR?). If anyone is interested in this little gizmo, PM me.

After reading this again, Idecided to fix up the old radio I got just in case some one wants it or I need to put it in my car. It has a burnt out light behind the display. I got the light out and went to the GM parts guy and he couldn't find it in their system. Is there a part number for this light I can give them or do I have to get it from somewhere else.
BTW: The radio is actually out of a '97 Grand Am. I swapped my aunt because she wanted a cd player and to keep the factory steering controls. This one I have is a tape deck. I put a Pioneer in my car.
