Nope, not at all. I plugged everything in, fired everything up and it was all set right from the start. The display never begun to blink like it used to. I had the battery disconnected for a entire week last week while I was waiting for parts, so maybe that was a long enough time to COMPLETELY clear everything...

I can tell you one thing.. Boy have I missed this car!! I've been driving around my moms '99 Saab 9-3 Convertible while my Bonneville was put up, and its a great car, but its a non-turbo / automatic model. Makes my Bonneville feel like a Ferrari after driving around that 2.3 4-Cylinder all week

I'm doing a nice write-up of the entire project, I'll post it on my site and submit it when I'm done!

Hey, Terminator--were you ever able to finish that write-up? I just got the dreaded flashing of the display, and when I took it to the dealer, they say it'* code 040--Air mix door blah blah blah problem

I figure I can get it taken apart no problem, but if you have any good pionts to watch out for it may help

Thanks,
Jim

Terminator, nice hitch! I'm ordering mine Monday morning. Looks real clean on your car. Where'd you get the emblems? Did you just paint yours, or did you order 'em somewhere?

Never finished the write-up, but I could easily do one for ya. I've also learned auite a bit of tips and tricks that I could suggest to you as well to make the job a WHOLE lot easier.

jim, I LOVE the hitch. I was very impressed with the install when they were through, and it of course pulls my waverunner with no sweat.

Gotta run, but I'll post more later...
