okay I found one problem. Near the transmission the round plug with 7 contacts. It had 3 wires melted together one black two brown. One of the brown is from 5C. Fixed that. Now I get now grounded contacts at the relays if the transmission is unplugged. If I plug in the transmission the relays find ground on pin 85 again. What does this connector plug into on the transmission?

Okay so this is definetly the problem area. I was getting ground before with the transmission uplugged because these wire were melted together. Now I get now ground and continuity between all the wires at the relays and the transmission and the fuse box. When I plug this connector to the transmission everything grounds out. So now I just need to know what this is and how to fix it.

Okay so this gray round connector on the top, front side of the of the transmission is very loose. I can turn it about 25 degrees left to right and it pulls in and out just a bit. This is where I am getting my circuit grounded when I plug this connector in. I tried plugging it in then moving the connector around and no change. I have attached a picture. Anyone know what this is?

That'* nothing but the transmission connector that tells it everything.
I'd fix those wires and give it a check with a fuse. What'* one more..lol

It being able to twist is ok. You shouldn't be able to pull it out at all. Here'* what it looks like on the inside. The connector is in the upper right hand corner.

Okay so I tried another fuse. I left the transmission unplugged and started the car. Fuse did not pop car is in limp mode. Turned off car plugged in transmission started car and fuse popped immediately. I am thinking maybe the wires inside are grounding out. A few days ago before I started messing with the wiring and the plugs a fuse would last for a minute before popping without the fans on. Now it pops immediately. I am thinking I have a connector grounded out right at that plug in the transmission. Any thoughts? anyone have a schematic for the transmission wiring?
