Electric Supercharger?
Does anyone know anything about the electric superchargers advertised in magazines? Do they really work and if they do are they worth it for SE owners like me?

What type of power drain on the sytem are we talking here anyways? How reliable is this setup anyways? Is the cost = to or greater than the outcome? In other words is it worth it? What about the sensors like the MAT & MAP, will they work correctly with this setup? Will the ECM/PCM work within tolerances set up by the manufacturer (GM)? :?

Ive never seen such a waste of 300 dollar in my life. the only people who would buy this are ricers who think itll work. Stick w/ a cai youll be happier no splicing of wires cleaner installation. I cant see how a fan going into your intake would do anything.
There was a post about a leaf blower into your intake a long time ago on a diff site. it just wont work.
save ur money on a better mod
for expample 40 dollar for a K&n filter 10-15 hp and 160 for a zzp higher flowing throttle body 10-15 hp so over all gain at least 29 hp to 30 and stil have 100 bucks.

The "Electric Supercharger" in that link is the same thing they're selling on eBay for every car under the sun. IF it doesn't get sucked into the intake manifold, it won't do you any good anyways. I don't have the link to the boat site in front of me, but all those are are blowers for a boat. And they cost ~$20 on the boating site. It doesn't move anywhere close to the amount of air you'd need to make any difference. I think those are around 300cfm?
