I just came back from Mick'* school and everything is A OK!...........Yaaaaaaaaaa Hooooooooooooooooooooo Baaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbby. I only took it for a test drive around the parking lot but I have my fingers crossed. Everyone, thanks a million, I finally have my car back. Oh what a feeling....What a Rushhhhhhhh!
I'm a happy camper today. All of this started because the inner boot had a rip in it.
I went through 2 wrong CV boots and 3 wrong CV axle shafts, with the car in limbo for 2 1/2 weeks. And to think I was only doing one side.

I took it for 1 hour test drive and everythings great except the steering wheel is slightly off to the left. When it gets warmer out I'll take a closer look and lube the front end while I'm at it.
I'm back in the saddle.
Chaulk that up to one down 12 more to go.

Great to hear you got the correct part and it'* fixed!
as far as the offcenter steering goes, you may want to take it in for an allignment. I do that anytime i remove parts of or related to the front suspension.
