I agree with the no spark theory....I drove my wifes caravan with #1 injector plugged...it barely ran! couldnt imagine 2 cylinders out!! Would be undriveable/or simply wouldnt run at all.

The plugs are not fouled at all

I've had 2 wires crossed (not on the same fire either) and it was driveable. It went up my driveway so a load on it is possible. However you're not gonna run even a 17 or 18 like it.. Shook a lot too.
What electronics have been added to the car since it was built? Anything at all with ignition (remote start etc)? Coil packs could be a problem but this sounds like it just started happening.
When it dies does it stumble before, or does it just shut off after running fine?
