Well, it warmed up a little bit, and we pushed the car out of the lot it was in to another, tried cranking it again, and the same thing with the new battery, but this time, the second time we tried, there was a whining coming from what I would say is the starter. Is it right on the front of the motor like the n/a series 1 or is it in a different location? Because I did one on my Olds a few years ago. Couldn't really get a look though because there'* a plastic shroud in the way.

The starter is in the same location as the Series 1. Right up front.
Have you pulled the boots off your battery cables yet?

Can we PLEASE list the year and model in the signature?
Thinking about this more. Marty once had a car where the TB gasket hadn't been cleaned before tossing another on. That may be a suspect as well.

There were also problems with this car after the SC and LIM work, as well as a GTP. Same problem on both cars. IIRC, it had something to do with a MAF code on both cars? I don't remember exactly. Have those problems been resolved? Is the coolant full? What does the oil look like?

I'm not asking what your boots look like. PULL THEM OFF. You CANNOT see the corrosion on the cables underneath the boots. It'* invisible until you pull the boots. This is why we've stressed the point at least 4 or 5 times in this topic.

I saw that Willwren. My fault, I forgot to include that I have no boots on my ends. I removed them when I put my system in and installed a custom grounding kit. (Made it easier to connect to the battery) My fault for not mentioning it but please don't get forcefull about it. I wouldn't put something up here if I wasn't going to listen to anyone'* opinion. Hell, I have a 1/4 tank of 93 to burn!
