Well actually it'* car model paint from a hobby store. You see I build car models too & I use this stuff to make it look like it'* got tinted windows. This stuff was designed for plastic only & is water soluble! I put on about 5 layers with a paint brush then clear coated to keep it smooth & keep the water out too. If you ask for liquid tint at your local hooby store I'm sure they'll know what you mean, mine did! BTW: I did all the tail lights (Body Side & Trunk Side)!

Ok, this may sound stupid. Did you do the inside or outside of the lights? I've got some funny internal delamination....looks like bubbles....on my taillights, all 4 pieces. JSeabert has the same symptom. Outside tint would hide it, but inside wouldn't.

You might want to try what I've done. You can see my pic'* on Bonnevilleintensity under SOCLEANONE.Get ja some 1/4in.pin stripe.Black if you want darker lights.Or you can use the same color as your car stripe Or you can spray paint the black or white pin stripe to match your car if they don't make it.I've done it both ways on my other cars, and it works great and looks great to.It'* not all that hard either. Let me know what ja think. CUL8TR SOCLEANONE

No, I was stupid and spent all night looking it up. Found it, then actually checked your link.

I swear I'll check your links from this day forward. Now I gotta go see if I can find a can!

I applied to to the outside of the tail lights....The stuff I used is this:
Agueous Hobby Color made by Gunze Sangyo. It'* "Smoke Gray" # H95.
It'* a little bottle about 2X the size of "Testers" bottles. I had to use 5 bottles to do all my tail lights.
