Thanks for the offer to help. But I already ordered a balancer from GMPD. When I ordered the PS pump, I asked about a balancer because I had my suspicions about the health of mine. He said there was only one in the computer, and I know the L27 and L67 used different pulleys. So I wasn't gonna bet that was the right one.

Out of curiosity, what could you find for my 92 L67?

Mine had to be replaced a few months ago...and even the Pontiac dealer gave me the wrong part number the first time I called.

The correct part number for the '92 SSE */c or SSEi is 88960259, and according to the dealer, this part is for the '92 only. It was the right part for my '92 SSE */c.

According to the dealer, the part number for the '93 and '94 SSEi is 88960265.

Put in my shiny new balancer today. Runs quiet and smooth.

It didn't examine it to closely. But the only diference I saw in the redesigned part was shiny paint and smaller slots for the puller. Whatever, as long as it doens't rattle.
