Thanks for asking. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one reading my posts.
It'* still at the above stage. I got the UIM on Tuesday, but it'* been nothing but rain since. I'll just start back on it Saturday morning. I think I have about 3 hours worth of work, and I'll get it going. My fingers are crossed!

Very clean, you made me jealous with all the superclean parts. Most days i'd settle for a parts washer.

IT RUNS! I worked all the live long day today, and got it going. It fired on the first crank, with no hesitation. I ran it for about 10 minutes, and changed the oil. It must have had 1/2 quart or better of coolant/fuel (things other than oil) in the crankcase, even after having been drained this whole time. I changed the oil and filter, and took it for a ride. It pulls right, as the right front tire was obviously driven low on air for a LONG time, as the inner and outer is worn down to the steel! Still may need an alignment. The A/C isn't really working, although the compressor does come on. I'm hoping for a low-freon situation. It seems to shift well, and the brakes feel good. I didn't get pics, as I'm flat worn out, and by the time I got done, it was dark. With the head work and gasket set and extras, I'm up to about $1400 total on the car. Not too shabby, I think. Thanks to everyone, and the Bonneville Club forum and tech for all the help. Everyone cross your fingers that Woody Woodpecker doesn't appear in the lower end due to the oil contamination, OK?
EDIT: Observations -
You can leave the EGR mounted to the rear exhaust manifold when you pull the manifold and reinstall it.
Exhaust crossover pipe bolts will break if you torque them too much.
This is an easy engine to work on - I never thought V6 in-car head removal could be so easy.
Not having to adjust rocker arms is a good thing. 11 ft. lbs. + 90 degrees on the bolts and GO!

Yeah, it'* all good! Here it is...
Please ignore the coolant recovery tank. That'* another fine addition by the previous owner. A new factory tank will be there shortly.

You did a fine job on bringing this bonnie back to life. Nice and clean reinstall! Money well spent. Hope you have many more years with this one.
