couple of problems
I have the following codes back from the diagnostic I got when I took my car in to the trany shop.
99
69 a/c head pressure switch circuit
56Quad Driver "B" fault
55exhaust gas recirculation fault (egr solenoid #3)
38tcc brake input circuit
36 transaxle shift control problem
Before I take it to the auto electric service place, can I fix any of these things on my own. If so I need some step by step instructions.
Can anyone help

More will chime in soon. The egr you can possilbly fix by cleaning and lightly oiling. I believe the procedure is in techinfo under EGR.
The AC problem .. I'm unfamiliar. However it'* possible you only have an AC and EGR problems that are causing the other codes.

Solution:
Have the AC system repaired and recharged.
Clean your EGR valve with carb cleaner and a brush, let it evaporate, and then lightly oil the springs and shafts.
Get your trans diagnosed properly and rebuilt.
It would help if you would tell us your symptoms as you observe them. Some of these codes may or may not be current or even correct.
You might want to START by clearing the codes. Disconnect your battery for about a half hour, then drive for a day or two, and pull new codes using the trick listed in Techinfo. Let us know what current codes you have at that time.

the only problems I have noticed are:
1)check engine light coming on when I slow down and then goes off when I speed up or stop
2) at about 40-44mph sounds like something is rubbing momentarily
3)After the car is off for a while, when I turn it on it starts then sputters and goes off unless I hit the gas.
