Default Cost To Replace Pressure Control Solenoid?

Well my transmission has been occasionally shifting hard, and from everything I have read http://www.automotiveforums.com/t607...ard_shift.html (this is exactly my problem), my PCS is going bad. Now I am a poor college student and I really don't have much $$$, so I would like to know the costs to repair this problem, and your experiences. I was told because the 1992-1999 Bonneville have a lot of room underhood to work around, the tranny might not have to be totally dropped, saving me $$$, can anyone confirm this? I have a huge headache from this :?

AND, If anyone knows of a good transmission repair shop around Saginaw, MI area or somewhere in the tri-cities in MI, or around Tawas, MI, that would be great

This is a thread in the 2000+ section regarding it.

They should have to drop the tranny to get to it, but it is rather labor intensive. Before you do anything else...get a can of Seafoam TransTune, follow the directions on the can. Run it for a while, then change your fluid, and see if that helps.
